Product Review
Salt & Stone Deodorant
TLDR: Neroli & Basil is my favorite out of the ones that I tried. I would love to find an aluminum free deodorant that is a little less fragrant. I might try the Salt & Stone Gel Deodorants next to see how those are.
Longer Read: I was a little hesitant to try Salt & Stone initially. I first heard of the brand because a few influencers I follow were promoting the deodorant. And I typically try to stay away from influencer promoted items, since I haven’t had the best of luck in the past with the few that I did try. As of today, I have made 2 purchases from the brand! If you’d like, take a look at how I’ve categorized my review below.
What I Ordered
BERGAMOT & HINOKI ($20)

When I made my purchase, they were sold out of the “Mini Deodorant Trio” ($33), which is basically a sample of 3 of their deodorants. The cool thing about the mini trio is that you can select which 3 scents you would like to receive. Since they were sold out, I decided to go with the BERGAMOT & HINOKI since I love Bergamot. I was starting to run out, so I wanted to make a second purchase. And this time, the mini trio was in stock.
This is what I got in my Mini Deodorant Trio
- Black Rose & Oud
- I love this one. It reminds me of getting a Rose Milk Tea with boba.
- Neroli & Basil
- This one reminds me of a spa, and I find this one to be the least fragrant (I was looking for something that didn’t have that strong of a scent, which makes this one my favorite)
- Santal & Vetiver
- This one smells great too. It just wasn’t my favorite.
Scents
The amount of fragrance in the product is the only downside for me. I think that Salt & Stone offers some really unique and beautiful scents! I just wish they were a little less fragrant. When I put it on the morning, I feel like I can’t apply perfume because the scents will clash. I hope they come out with something with the same ingredients, just less fragrant.
Does It Keep the BO Away?
I truly do think this products works well. I’ve been wearing it for about 4 weeks now, and it has passed the test of exercising outdoors in the middle of summer (multiple times). When I’m moving may arms during exercise, I usually smell the scent of the deodorant (and not BO!).
